Relentless Brewing, Temecula, CA

Background

James Hess (I understand not a relative of Mike), co-owner & brewmaster of Relentless Brewing, opened Relentless September 12, 2014. The tasting room came a few months later. Relentless was Temecula’s ninth brewery.

Relentless Brewing just opened a restaurant, taproom and sports bar in Los Angeles. While they don’t brew on-site, the new location will be serving their signature beers.

Experience

We arrived at Relentless Brewing on a Thursday evening and got the last two stools at the bar. There is an L shaped bar with brewing equipment next to tasting area. They had 9 beers on tap that night and we tried them all. The Ride or Die was tart and funky, The Dark Night, nice coffee and light vanilla on nitro, Juicy as Funk as advertised, delicious and the Wild Islanders, moderately tart and a bit fruity funk. The peach and mango experimental IPA’s were also quite good. We enjoyed the cool artwork and the quite friendly beertender. We left with a Crowler of Ride or Die W/Passionfruit & Guava and a bar of Relentless soap. Congrats on some excellent beers and we look forward to returning!

Relentless does not have a food menu.  No nearby lodging noted.

When in Temecula check out Refuge Brewery and Black Market Brewing.
