Background
10 Barrel Brewing founders Jeremy Cox, Chris Cox and Garrett Wales opened a production brewery in Bend, Oregon in 2006. In 2010 the trio opened their first brewpub in Bend Oregon. In 2012 they opened a new larger production facility. 2013 saw a new Brewpub opening in Boise, Idaho and added distribution in Washington and Idaho. In 2014 the trio partnered with Anheuser-Busch with quite a bit of backlash in the craft beer industry. It was reported that the 10 Barrel founders Jeremy Cox, Chris Cox and Garrett Wales will continue to lead the brewery as a division of Anheuser-Busch.
2015 saw a new brewpub opening in Portland with added distribution in Colorado and California. The growth continued in 2016 with a new brewpub opening in Denver, Colorado. Not resting on their laurels a new brewpub was opened in San Diego, California, along with a second pub in Bend, Oregon, and expanded brewery offices.
Experience
10 Barrel Brewing is another favorite pub in Bend. Tried a Cucumber Berliner Weisse and a strong Belgium Sour – Delicious. Also had a CiderWeisse, 60% Berliner Weisse & 40% Apple Cider – so good. The Apocalypse IPA – nice! Great menu as well, 10 Barrel Steamer Clams – excellent! Great patio and inside drinking area, gets crowded!
