Background
On Christmas Day 1982, a century-old home on Main Street in North Woodstock became home to the Woodstock Inn Brewery which then boasted four guest rooms and a 25-seat restaurant. Woodstock Station was originally the Lincoln Railroad Station, built in the late 1800’s. In the summer of 1984, the station was sawed in half and moved it to its present location next to the Inn. In 1996, the Woodstock Inn Station and Brewery in the scenic White Mountains of New Hampshire was conceived. Woodstock Inn Brewery owner Scott Rice.
Experience
We arrived to Woodstock Inn Station & Brewery on a Monday afternoon on a drizzly day to this charming mountain town. The main bar is the anchor of the brewery and has an interesting collection of artifacts. Right above the main bar is the Tap Room complete with a stone fireplace where one can enjoy and still see live entertainment below. There is a cozy lodge feel to the main dining and bar area. They also have a patio area known as the Dam bar. There is an extensive food menu and we enjoyed lunch. The chicken salad sandwich we had was made on spent grain bread and was very tasty. We also got a flight and enjoyed the Coffee Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout, Falling Waters Double IPA & Blue Bird Day Pale Ale.
