Background
Co-founders Jeff Kaber and Jeremy Pye began discussions about opening a brewery as employees of a small business software company in Tucson. They enjoyed home brewing on the weekends and one day had one of those conversations that they should take this to the next level and make a business out of it. The duo decided to start small and invested in a 4-barrel system from Colorado Brewing Systems in Fort Collins, Colorado. They opened Copper Mine Brewing Company on Palo Verde Road in February 2017. The name of course pairs up well with the state of Arizona.
Experience
We arrived Copper Mine Brewing Company on a late Friday afternoon. Several people were there but we did get a table. We ordered two flights to taste 8 of the 10 beers they offered that night. We particularly enjoyed the Cranberry Gose, Hibiscus Blond, and Nitro Pale. The Bacon Buggy was out from and we enjoyed some excellent eats from them. They routinely have rotating food trucks on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
No nearby lodging noted. When visiting Copper Mine we suggest you also check out Green Feet Brewing Crooked Tooth Brewing and Pueblo Vida Brewing which are nearby.
