Background
Pedro Point Brewing, Pacifica’s first and only brewery opened its doors in April 2018. Owners Roberta Gamble & Aaron Bonner have been residents for almost 20 years. Head brewer Aaron has been making beer at home, restaurants and breweries for over 27 years, and when he and his wife decided to embark on this journey they wanted to be in their home town of Pacifica.
Experience
We were driving through the area and found Pedro Point. It was an unexpected surprise to find a brewery only open four months with 16 beers on tap! That variety shows Aaron is no rookie. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there were quite a few people and a few dogs enjoying the afternoon. The tasting room has several tables and an L shaped bar all in view of the brewing equipment. We tried a flight and really enjoyed Spindrift a cream ale on nitro, Mango Hopsicle, a mango and lactose IPA & Pretty OKay IPA, a big hop nose on this hazy NEIPA. Roberta & Aaron were working the bar and were quite friendly and attentive. They currently do not have food on site but occasionally have events with food. On weekends you’ll often find some live music. We suggest you check out Pedro Point Brewing.
