Aftershock Brewing Co., Temecula, CA

Background – Aftershock Brewing Co.

Marvin Nigh, Brewmaster/Owner has been brewing for more than 25 years. Nigh turned his brewing hobby into a full-fledged business and Aftershock Brewing Co. became a reality in 2009. His beers caught on and as a result in 2014 he doubled the brewery size by moving to the west side of the same complex for better exposure.

Nigh worked as a specialist who repairs leather furniture, a career that has paid the bills for more than 30 years.

Experience

Aftershock Brewing Co. is located in a strip mall just off the I15. After enjoying some of the local wineries during the day we arrived at the brewery on a Tuesday afternoon and joined about 10 people at the brewery. The tasting room has alot of very cool lighting effects, several tables, a bar and great grass walled nook with sofa’s. We ordered a flight and it was presented in a state of California shaped holder. The California state shape was carried into the bright yellow tap handles. We ordered all the IPAs and the Schwartzy. Our favorites were the Patchwork Obscurity, a NIPA and the Schwartzy, a Euro Dark.

They do not have a kitchen but do offer some snacks for sale and host an occassional food truck. No nearby lodging noted. Right down the street is Garage Brewing, check out our review. http://searchfortheholyale.com/garage-brewing-co-temecula-ca/.
