Background
Banger Brewing opened its door in 2014 by five friends who have worked together for years. The Banger fivesome are Marc Longwith, Nick Fischella, Eddy Quiogue, Roberto Mendoza and Michael “Banger” Beaman. They met while working for restaurants at the Bellagio.
As they grew older and wiser they realized that not only should they be united in friendship, but also in business. With that in mind they made a conscious effort to join together by law and by finances, and undertake a business venture. The group consulted a very close buddy, Michael “Banger” Beaman, who had been home brewing some pretty awesome beers for the last few years. Not only would he become Banger’s brew master, but also the brewery’s name is derived from his nickname
Experience
The beer trail led us to Fremont Street one night and thus Banger Brewing. By far, the best brewpub we found in Las Vegas proper. They are serving up a variety of beers: Hop Bang Boom with a light nondiscript hop nose and good flavored IIPA, Saison Du Mures a blackberry saison with some hops, May Flowers a light crisp Jasmine Rosemary Saison and also a guest Joseph James Desert Snow IPA with a nice mango hop nose. Nice sized brewpub with indoor and patio space. At least six walkable hotels on the Fremont experience. Probably the best hotel is the D. Definitely worth a visit! Fremont Street is Fun!
No kids allowed in the brewery. No on site food available.
When in Las Vegas you could check out Big Dog Brewing or Sin City Brewing !
