We understand Barren Hill Tavern and Brewery has closed their doors.
Barren Hill Tavern and Brewery is in a large historic building in Lafayette Hill Pennsylvania. Interesting old building known to have had General Lafayette’s soldiers housed while chasing the British around. Huge variety of craft beer available (see below). Enjoyed the Barren Hill Hop Sensation double IPA, a Bottle Roquette, a Biere de Garde (local collaboration), and a Saison de Rose (collaboration of Free Will & 4 women) a tart delicious Saison. Food is also excellent. Enjoyed the mussels & the Salmon BLT.
Did not note walkable lodging near the brewpub. Still, an excellent choice for a pint and lunch while taking in the historic countryside.
