After a long cross country flight and a late night arrival we needed food and beer. Brewers Tasting Room, aka BTR, is located in a strip mall, was on the way to our hotel. Plenty of people occupied tables inside, outside and at the long wrap around bar. We found our place at the bar because typically service is faster. Well, not here. We watched as one male server yacked with a table of women. The woman server was diddling around. We sat there for a long time with no acknowledgment, debating on whether to just move on, but we had to complete our mission. Finally the guy came around the bar and got us some beer. Of course by this time the kitchen was closed, even though we could see someone in there cleaning up. They could not even supply us a scoop of fish spread with crackers! Oh well, (the menu looked very enticing). Had a monk’s dinner of ale. They only have a couple of beers brewed on site with a nice selection of local guest taps and lots of bottles. Their own brew, Jake’s Fussy Blond, was pretty tasty. Their Bad Badger Hop Burst APA had no nose and an OK flavor. We closed the place down and by the time everyone else left we had great service from both barkeeps. Actually they were very friendly!
