Flying Goose Brewpub & Grill, New London, NH

Background

Current owner, Tom Mills, has operated what was originally known as The Four Corners Grille since  1993. In 1996, he began to brew beer on sight and rebranded as Flying Goose Brewpub & Grill. Mills boasts having the only Foeder in New Hampshire. This family friendly brew pub is now managed by his three kids Brett, Jordan, and Brianna.

Flying Goose became New Hampshire’s 1st solar powered brewery in 2011.

Experience

Find yourself driving through New Hampshire hungry and in the need of a decent beer?  We arrived Flying Goose Brewpub & Grill on a Tuesday afternoon and it was not too crowded. They have an interesting bar area with a couple of dining rooms off to the side. A windowed wall off one of the dining room allows one to look down on the brewing area. We ordered a flight and enjoyed their Foeder Three Farmhouse and the Long Brothers IPA. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner from their extensive, beyond bar food, menu.

Flying Goose does have growler fills available. One can also find live music from time to time. No nearby lodging noted.

When in New Hampshire check out Woodstock Inn Brewery in North Woodstock and Shilling Beer Company in Littleton.
