Background
Liquid Gravity Brewing experienced their Grand Opening in January 2020. Brendan and Celeste Gough are the proud owners of this San Luis Obispo brewery that has become known for the beer, musical bookings and food trucks.
Brendan started homebrewing while studying business at Cal Poly. He fell in love with the process and was soon spending all his free time homebrewing. He started winning medals at local homebrew competitions and decided to take the leap into professional brewing in 2009, starting at Central Coast Brewing as Assistant Brewer.
After a few years, he moved to Firestone Walker Brewing Company where is worked for the next two a half years. He then returned to Central Coast as Director of Brewing Operations and remained until to decided to open his own brewery.
Experience
We visited Liquid Gravity Brewing in June 2022. The tasting room includes a long bar and several options for seating. The patio is expansive, includes a stage for music and looks like a great place to enjoy good weather with friends, music and craft beer. There is a section of cozy group seating along one side and a fire table in another. The food trucks pull up right next to the patio area.
We ordered a flight and enjoyed the offerings. Especially like the hazy Thiol by Fire. The do offer canned beers to go. The tasting room and patio are accessible.
