Little Machine Beer, Denver, CO

Background

Other owners of Little Machine include brewer Brett Williams, Ben Chenard and tasting room manager Mike Dunkly. The trio decided to name the brewery Little Machine because they enjoy the idea that six simple machines can be combined to make almost anything, including great beer. Little Machine is the first brewery in Colorado to receive the vegan certification.

This very cool little brewery is a stones throw from Mile High Stadium, in Denver’s historic Jefferson Park neighborhood.  They opened their doors in October 2015.  Brett Williams, the head brewer came from Dry Docks Brewery.

Experience

The Little Machine Beer tap room is an interesting layout, with a circular wooden bar in the middle of the room with taps and the service area in the middle. I give them props for having such a variety of beers available at 6 months old.  We arrived in the afternoon and there were a few other patrons.  We tried a flight, my favorites: Agrobot IPA – little tangerine hop nose with a smooth flavor and Mechanical Bull Dopplebock – a collab with Bull & Bush, aged in a French Syrah barrel, oak wine nose and bit of blackberry flavor (A lot going on here). Not to mention Sniffer – their IPA on nitro had a lemon hop nose and a creamy lemongrass flavor.  These guys are off to a good start.

No nearby lodging noted.
