Background
Pismo Brewing Company was founded in 2010 by Central Coast locals, Tim & Melissa Moscardi. I believe Melissa is the brewer. Their first building was up around the corner from their current location.
Experience
We have been to Pismo Brewing Company a few times. Our first visit was shortly after they opened. Our experience then was memorable and we vowed to return. Melissa was most welcoming and the signature strawberry Blonde ale was refreshing and delicious. They had house brewed soda pop too. We purchased merch that still adorns our home. Most recently we visited the new, larger location. They now have more room inside and a nice patio out front.The tap room is located just a block from the pier. More food and snack items are also available. A family member provides delicious seasoned nuts which are worth a try. I found their beers to be OK, but the owners and staff are always very friendly and what better place to enjoy a beer than Pismo Beach. My wife does love the Strawberry Blond Ale.
The Pismo Beach Hotel and the Beachcomber Inn are right down the street.
