Background
Red Door Brewing Company opened 2014 by brew masters Rob Stroud and Wayne Martinez, Frank Holloway, Jeff Hart and Matt Biggs. A red door, long recognized as a cultural sign of welcoming and safety, became the brewery’s logo.
Three locations are available: Red Door Downtown has a full bar and serves up tons of great cocktails with local and imported spirits. This taproom also partners with Kamikaze Kitchen to offer delicious food. The Far East taproom will require a trek out to Clovis, just minutes from the Texas border. The Roswell taproom is located at the old 3rd Street Station just off Main Street and dishes up some of the best BBQ in town.
Experience
Red Door Brewing Company, look for the Red Door. Spacious interior with tables, foosball and bar as well as a bit of a patio. Even the inside is dog friendly. Plenty of parking in their lot. Tried the Threshold IPA, Trapdoor Belgium Wit and Strong Scotch Ale. All offerings were certainly drinkable. An added bonus for Red Door -They have a short menu with a couple sandwiches, chips etc.
No nearby lodging noted.
