Verde Brewing Co, Camp Verde, AZ.

Experience

What a find off the Arizona I-17 in Camp Verde!  For those traveling to Flagstaff, Sedona  or Prescott this brewery/restaurant is a worthwhile stop.  Verde Brewing Co has only been open a short time (4 months when we visited) and they have it down. We love hip and trendy, but we really appreciate the authentic, historic, and comfortable too!

Verde Brewing Co is housed in the historic Boler’s building on the quaint main street of Camp Verde.  We enjoyed all of the beer in the flight except for one.  The Gold Buckle blonde ale brewed with honey and alfalfa made it into one of our growlers!  No IPA on tap, but the Off to Jail Pale Ale was a nice consolation.  The Pecan Dunklelweizen was a creative and tasty addition. Even non stout drinkers should enjoy the Honey Pot with a hint of bourbon.  The only beer we did not really care for was the Redneck Rodeo belgian , but those who like a malt forward beer this fits the bill. We did not detect the raspberry in it though. Excellent food is served too.  Locally sourced beef in the burgers, fish tacos and different preparations of wings are some of the offerings. Looks like a delicious prime rib dinner is available on Saturdays.  Verde Brewing is a fun place complete with a foosball table, board games and corn hole in the outside beer garden.  Super friendly servers too!

We did not note nearby lodging.
