Background – Verde Brewing Company
The Verde Brewing Company, established in Camp Verde in 2013 as the first brewery in the Verde Valley by using Kickstarter crowdfunding to buy our first brewery equipment. They moved to a new location in 2017 (724 N. Industrial Drive, Unit 7a) that allowed them to have an onsite brewery at their restaurant and bar location. That gave them the opportunity to expand their processing and their brand.
Verde Brewing is the creation of Alex Goetting and his father, Steve Goetting. Alex is the company’s brewmaster and bartender while Steve handles the business side of the brewery. Alex Goetting was born and raised in VA before starting to learn how to brew and consume beer at the University of Arizona.

What a find off the Arizona I-17 in Camp Verde! For those traveling to Flagstaff, Sedona or Prescott this brewery/restaurant is a worthwhile stop. Verde Brewing Co had only been open a short time (4 months when we visited the first time) and they had it down.
We recently visited Verde Brewing on the way up to Flagstaff. There was room at the bar so we grabbed a couple stools and ordered a flight. We enjoyed Gold Buckle, Smokey Rye, Nectaron IPA & Strata IPA. We also enjoyed a delicious hot dog and chips.
The tasting room has a nice variety of food available such as a variety of nachos, sandwiches and hot dogs. Verde Brewing is a fun place complete with a foosball table, board games and corn hole in the outside beer garden. Super friendly servers too!
The tasting room is accessible, although there is gravel parking and a gravel entry. There is canned beer and food to go. When traveling on to Flagstaff, stop by Dark Sky Brewing, Historic Brewing and Wanderlust Brewing.
