Background
Point Brewing is the brainchild of three brothers-in-law, Scott Dunn, David Kruger, and Claudio Palleschi. Palleschi, a noted homebrewer who’s been making beer in his garage and basement for years, is the head brewer.
The brewery opened in 2022 and is nestled beside the blue waters of Lake Huron and the St. Clair River.
Point Brewing is the tenth brewery opened in Lambton County and another reason for a beercation in the area.
Experience
On our drive from Niagara Falls to Grand Rapids we stopped by Point Brewing on a Saturday, early afternoon. Openings at the bar called to us and we ordered a flight. We tried the Light Street Lager, Orange Creamsicle, Huron Hazy and Blueberry Wheat. We thought they were all drinkable.
In addition to fresh beer, they offer a short snack menu including hot dogs, pretzels, chips, nuts, and charcuterie. we ordered the charcuterie board and enjoyed it. They also have a variety of beer to go.
The tasting room is accessible. There is a Holiday Express Sarnia nearby. If you are heading east, check out Counterpart Brewing in Niagara. Further east in Syracuse, you must check out Buried Acorn Brewing. Going to Grand Rapids, check out Arvon Brewing!
